    Purchase Progress Bar Template

      Article Summary

Purchase Progress Bar is an inline template that gives your visitors multiple thresholds. Whenever they add an item to their cart, the progress bar gets closer to a target such as free shipping, additional discount and loyalty rewards. Therefore, it motivates your users to purchase more to reach the thresholds.

      How to create it

To create a campaign with the Purchase Progress Bar template, navigate to Experience > Optimize > Web Templates.

      1. Click the Create button, name your campaign, and click the Next button.

      2. You will land on the Template Library. You can search for the template or find it under Increase Average Order Value.

      3. When you click on the template, you will see the available platforms, its default preview, description, and its elements. Click Use For {Platform} to proceed.

      4. Since it is an inline template, you need to append it first to start customization. Click Navigate Mode to move on your website and select the element if you do not want to place it on your home page.

After appending it, you can see how it looks on your website on the Preview mode of the Action Builder.

      5. You can proceed with designing your template in the Design mode. If you set multiple thresholds, you can add up to 4 and customize them separately.

If users click the progress bar before they reach the target threshold, they will be redirected to the URL in Before Success Link. If they click the progress bar after they’ve reached the threshold, they will be redirected to the URL in Success Link in Success State.

You can set the style of the Progress Bar element to change the color when it is filled.

You modify each threshold separately. To trigger your users, specify the remaining amount, the sentence when they reach the threshold and the remaining amount to reach it.

In the Success State, define the sentence to show when users reach the final threshold and link to direct them when they click on it.

      6. When you finalize your design, proceed with the rest of your campaign.
