      • Log into your Facebook page account on InOne. You should have the privilege to create audiences and campaigns on Facebook Ads.

With this guide, you can find answers to the following questions:

How can I start using Facebook Ads Remarketing?

      1. Go to Insider's InOne panel and click on your user name to navigate to InOne Settings > Integration Settings > Facebook Ads Integration.

      2. Click the Continue with Facebook button and enter your credentials on the pop up screen.

      3. You will see that your connected account resides under the table below.

How to send a segment from Insider to Facebook Ads

You can start sending the segments you want to Facebook Ads through the corresponding icons on the Saved Segments listing page.

You must have one of three specified levels of InOne panel access user roles to send the segment to the ads channels; otherwise, you will encounter an error message. These roles are:

      - Manage Users
      - Edit & Publish
      - Collaborate

Additionally, the user intending to send the segments to the ads channels must have admin access in their corresponding ads account profile.

When you click on the button to send the segment to Facebook, the modal opens. You need to select the Facebook Ads account, enable the Start sending toggle to validate sending, and click the Save button.

The audiences you sent get populated after midnight.

Once the segment is sent from Insider, you can view the audiences that were sent by Insider with an “insider” prefix.

Meta accepts phone numbers with or without the + (plus) sign, but a country code must be present in each phone number. Here is an example of what might happen if you send phone numbers without the + sign:
      - You will create a custom audience list with a lot of people in your database.
      - When you try to use this custom audience list to target your ads, Facebook will only be able to match a small percentage of those people.
      - This is because Facebook will not be able to match the phone numbers in your database to the phone numbers in its database.

The Facebook Custom Audience Terms should be accepted to send the segment to the Facebook Ads side. If you click on the underlined title on the error toaster, you will be redirected to the respective connected ads account’s manager page.

You can accept the terms on the Facebook Ads account’s manager page and proceed trying to send your segment again to Facebook.

Make sure you check the History tab of the Sent Segment from the Ads Manager for any relevant updates or changes.

Why do I see different results between Insider and Facebook?

You can refer to the common reasons below to better understand why you see different results between Insider and Facebook:

      • Privacy Settings: Some users may have strict privacy settings on their Facebook accounts, making it challenging for Facebook to match their phone numbers. If users choose not to share their phone numbers or restrict access to this information, Facebook may not be able to match them.
      • User Preferences: Users may have opted out of custom audience matching in their Facebook privacy settings. This means that even if you provide their phone numbers, Facebook will not use this information to match them to your custom audience.
      • Country Restrictions: Facebook's custom audience matching may be limited by country or region. If the majority of the provided phone numbers are from a country where Facebook has restrictions, it could affect the matching process.
      • Ad Preferences: Some users may have adjusted their ad preferences to limit the targeting options available to advertisers. This could affect whether they are included in your custom audience.
      • Incomplete User Profiles: If the users in your list have incomplete or sparse Facebook profiles, it may be harder for Facebook to accurately match them to existing profiles on the platform.
      • Timing and Data Processing: Facebook's matching process takes time, and not all matches may be instant. It's possible that additional matches could occur over time as Facebook updates its databases and processes the provided data.

How can I improve my custom audience match rate?

To improve your custom audience match rate, you can consider the following strategies:

      • Provide accurate and up-to-date data

Ensure that the phone numbers or other identifiers you provide are accurate and up-to-date.

      • Encourage users to update privacy settings

Educate your audience about the benefits of your advertising campaigns and encourage them to update their privacy settings to allow for better matching.

      • Consider using email addresses

If phone numbers are not yielding a high match rate, consider using email addresses for custom audience creation. Some users may have email addresses associated with their Facebook accounts that can be matched more effectively.

Remember that custom audience matching may take some time, and not all matches may occur instantly. Regularly review and refine your approach based on performance data and user feedback to continually improve your custom audience match rate.
