Before building your email campaigns, make sure to have created your contact lists and passed their consent information to Insider. Once you manage your contacts, you can target them on the Recipients step.
You can collect or share your users' consent information with the following methods:
- Insider's lead collection templates
- Insider Object
- Upsert User Data API
- Saved static segments
- Contact lists
Lead Collection Templates
Insider's desktop and mobile web lead collection templates help you collect your users' email addresses and their opt-in information. When your users give their consent to receive marketing content from your brand while sharing their email addresses with you, Insider automatically logs this information. In this case, you do not need to share any consent information for these users with Insider.
Insider Object for Email Integration
Insider Object is a JavaScript object integration that helps you share your users' consent to receive marketing content from your brand with Insider. Read more on Email Integration.
Upsert User Data API
Upsert User Data API is one of Insider's external APIs that you can call from your back-end. It helps you pass your users' consent information from your back-end (e.g. call center, CRM, etc.) to Insider. Read more on Upsert User Data.
Saved Static Segments
Saved static segments help you create your segments and use them on the Recipients step. Read more on Saved Segments.
Upload Contact Lists
Contact lists help you upload your contacts and confirm that the respective contacts have given consent to receive marketing content from your brand. Read more on Contact Management.
