    Two-Step SMS and Email Opt-in Template

      Please note that customers who have joined our platform after February 2024 will not have access to non-responsive Lead Collection Templates except for Web Push Opt-in templates and WhatsApp Sticky Opt-in template.

      You can use Two-step SMS and Email Opt-in Collection template to collect your users' email addresses and phone numbers, and offer them latest announcements and discounts in return.

      How to create it

      To create a campaign with the Two-step SMS and Email Opt-in Collection template, navigate to Experience > Optimize > Web Templates.

      1. Click the Create button, name your campaign, and click the Next button.

      2. You will land on the Template Library. You can search for the template or find it under Collect Leads.

      3. When you click on the template, you will see the available platforms, its default preview, description, and its elements. Click Use For {Platform} to proceed.

      4. It is an on page template. You can see how it looks on your website in the Preview mode in Action Builder. Switch to Design mode to start designing your template. 

      5. For the general settings, click on the main element and enable the desired toggles for lead collection. To display the template in a more eye catchy way, you can add Overlay and Animations. To set the prefilled and auto-reply messages, click SMS Settings

      • Prefilled message: The message that the users will send you to subscribe to your channel.
      • Automated reply message: The message that will be sent automatically to users for confirmation, unsubscribe instructions and redirect link.
      • Unsubscribe keyword: The keyword that users will send to unsubscribe your channels.

      You need to fill in the necessary areas, otherwise you will receive an error message and fail to proceed. Click OK to save your settings.

      6. You can adjust the settings of your campaign in three pages:

      • Email Collection: where you ask for the lead from the user.
      • SMS Redirection: where you redirect the user for SMS.
      • Coupon: where you display your appreciation message and offer coupon codes.

      Email Collection

      You can change the Style and Text settings of email collection elements. You can also customize the Button, Image and Input Box elements separately. 

      SMS Redirection

      You can change the Style of SMS Redirection and customize the Button, Image and Text elements separately. For the Text element including terms and conditions and privacy policy, we highly suggest you to place a link to direct the user to read more about them in detail.

      Coupon

      You can customize the Coupon settings here if you have enabled it and personalize text and button elements separately. 

      When you finalize your design, Save it and proceed with the rest of your campaign.
