    Test a Web Push Notification


      Article Summary

      After you design your Web Push Notification, if you wish to test whether the rules you set work properly; 

      1. Choose Activation Status as Test on the Launch step. Then, click Launch Campaign.

      2. Before visiting your website to test your web push notification, make sure that you do it with a new user and opt in for the notification.

      • On Chrome, click on the thumbnail of your account. When the menu is opened, click +Add to add a new user.
      • To proceed, you do not need to sign in, you can continue without an account and create a dummy profile to use to test your notification.
      • After you create the new user, you need to visit your website and opt in. Allow the opt-in notification.

      3. Go to the Campaign Listing Page, and click Test Link against the campaign you would like to test. 

      4. Click  right on the test icon. Copy the link and paste it with the new profile that you created on Chrome in Incognito Window, or open it in Incognito Window.

      5. When you land on your website, apply the rules if you selected in the Rules step any to trigger the push notification. Wait for the Web Push to appear. When you see all configurations work appropriately, click Exit Test

      5. After all, you can schedule and launch your campaign.
