    Architect Journey: Reachability on Channels

      When you use Check Reachability before any channel, a user's reachability for that channel is determined based on different criteria. You can see how reachability works for each channel as follows:

      Web Push

      Users who have allowed opt-in to receive web push notifications on your domain and have a web push token, and have not blocked web push notifications from your web site are considered reachable on web push.

      In this case;

      • Web push opt-in should be true.
      • Web push token should exist.
      • Web push token date should exist.
      • Web push language should exist.
      • GDPR opt-in should not be false.

      If your company obtains your users' consent in compliance with the local regulations, make sure to pass the GDPR opt-in field to Insider.       App Push

      Users who have enabled push notifications from your mobile application on their device and have not uninstalled your app are considered reachable via app push.

      In this case;

      • Mobile push opt-in should be true.
      • Mobile push token should exist.
      • GDPR opt-in should not be false.

      Email

      Users who have an email address and opted in to receive emails from your brand are considered reachable via email.

      In this case;

      • Email address should exist.
      • Email opt-in should be true.
      • GDPR opt-in should not be false.
      • Users should not be unsubscribed from your brand.

      SMS

      Users who have a phone number in a correct format (E164), and opted in to receive SMS from your brand, and have not opted-out from your brand are considered reachable via SMS.

      In this case;

      • Phone numbers should exist in a correct format.
      • SMS opt-in should be true.
      • GDPR opt-in should not be false.
      • SMS Opt-out should not be true.

      If your company obtains your users' consent in compliance with the local regulations, make sure to pass the GDPR opt-in field to Insider.       WhatsApp

      Users who have a phone number in the correct format (E164), and opted in to receive WhatsApp messages from your brand, and have not opted out from your brand are considered reachable on WhatsApp.

      • Phone number should exist in the correct format.
      • WhatsApp opt-in should be true. 
      • GDPR opt-in should not be false.

      If your company obtains your users' consent in compliance with the local regulations, make sure to pass the GDPR opt-in field to Insider.       In-App

      Users who have any action on your app in the past 30 days (e.g. completing an event, having an attribute, etc.) are considered reachable on In-App.

      On-Site

      Users who have any option on your website in the past 30 days (e.g. completing an event, having an attribute, etc.) are considered reachable on On-Site.

      Facebook

      Users who have an email address or phone number are considered reachable on Facebook. It depends on the identifier selection (email address or phone number) on the Architect Settings page.

      In this case;

      • Email address should exist.
      • Phone number should exist in the correct format.
      • GDPR opt-in should not be false.
      • Users' email addresses should match the one included in their Facebook account.
      • Users' phone numbers should match the one included in their Facebook account.

      Users who have an email address or phone number are considered reachable on Google Ads. It depends on the Identifier selection (email address or phone number) on the Architect Settings page.

      • Email address should exist.
      • Phone number should exist in the correct format. 
      • GDPR opt-in should not be false.
      • Users' email addresses should match the ones included in their Google account.
      • Users' phone numbers should match the ones included in their Google account.

      Users whose GDPR opt-in is false are considered as unreachable on Call an API.
