Primary Identifier makes it easier to identify users. It is a single custom attribute assigned as the primary key to a unique device ID (UDID), used to identify the user behind that device. To facilitate data exchange between user devices and enterprise devices, and to avoid duplicate resolutions, you must specify one primary item identifier for your enterprise. This may require your enterprise to create a uniform identifier, if you haven’t already. Your uniform identifier can be anything in your system and app that is unique for each user:
- Email address
- Phone number
- User_ID
How to set it in the panel
- Go to Settings > Mobile App Settings > General.
- Choose any custom attribute as your primary identifier.
Where it is used?
- InApp Lead Generation: Export any leads collected for a specific primary identifier
- Test Devices
- Uninstall Analytics
