Hello Bar Template

Hello Bar lets you show multiple promotional messages in a single banner area. With different animations to switch between the messages, it makes perfect use of the limited banner area.

How to create it

To create a campaign with the Hello Bar template, navigate to Experience > Optimize > Web Templates.

1. Click the Create button, name your campaign, and click the Next button.

2. You will land on the Template Library. You can search for the template or find it under Increase Conversion Rate.

3. When you click on the template, you will see the available platforms, its default preview, description, and its elements. Click Use For {The platform} to proceed.

4. Since it is an inline template, you need to append it first to start customization. Click Navigate Mode to move on your website and select the element if you do not want to place it on your home page.

After appending it, you can see how it looks on your website on the Preview mode of the Action Builder.

5. You can proceed with designing your template in the Design mode.  

By default, the Hello Bar template comes with text, and button. You can use the Settings window to customize your Hello Bar:

• Height and Width: Resizes the Hello Bar.
• No. Of Messages: Specifies the number of messages you want to display. You can show up to 5 messages. 
• Message Duration: Sets how long each message will display. This option is only available if you set a number greater than 1 in the No. Of Messages option.
• Animation: Applies a vertical or horizontal transition between messages.
• Animation Speed: Sets the speed of your message transitions.
• Close Button: Enables/disables the close button on your Hello Bar. 

You can configure each message separately when you click on the elements.

6. Save it once you are ready and proceed with your campaign configurations.
