Attributes and Events

You can use Attributes & Events page as a guide for your attributes that exist in the unified customer database and are usable in the products that you use. 

To reach Events & Attributes page, navigate to Components > Attributes and Events.

Insider collects different events and attributes from different sources such as web, mobile, CRM, predictive products, messaging channels, etc. Attributes and Events page helps you see all these events and attributes, and your limit for attributes and parameters in the unified customer database.

You can edit your events and attributes by changing the type and name of the attributes, and adding new parameters to the events.

Purpose

You can use this page if you want to:

• insert a custom attribute or event using any of Insider's APIs.
• map user data to a custom attribute while uploading a contact list or custom segment.
• edit any of the previously created attributes or events.
