Email Settings
The email address you add in the email settings will be used to communicate with all your customers. To enable it, enter the SMTP settings of your email provider in the relevant fields. If you leave it blank, info@useinsider.com will be assigned for all communications.
Double Opt-in
Double opt-in enables users to confirm their email address before being added to your email list and receive email communication from you. It is the double confirmation of their subscription to your newsletter or any services needing their email details. Using double opt-in in email marketing is a good way to ensure compliance regarding consent under GDPR and keeping your email list clean.
Default opt-in selection enables you to send emails to single or double opted-in users.
Check the Enable Double Opt-in settings box to add your confirmation page URL, and select your default opt-in type.
Webhook for Email Events
If you want to get email events, check the Enable webhook for email events box, and add a webhook URL and a secret. For further details on webhook cases and requests, refer to Webhooks for Email Events.
Email Throttling
Email Throttling helps you manage the number of messages to send to the ISPs at once to improve deliverability; since the service providers have fixed email delivery limits to prevent spam.Read more on Internet Service Provider-Based Throttling.
Central Bounce
Permanent bounces across all Insider accounts are flagged as Central Bounce in which bounces can be caused by the recipient's email address being invalid or the domain name not existing. When uploading any file to contact lists, users will be checked on Central Bounce and counted as bounced if exists. You can also see the count of these users on List Upload Confirmation emails under Total Bounced Users.Read more about Managing Suppressions and Contact Management.
