    Create a Lead Collection Campaign

      Important Update for New Customers:

      Please note that customers who have joined our platform after February 2024 will not have access to non-responsive Lead Collection Templates except for Web Push Opt-in templates and WhatsApp Sticky Opt-in template.

      To create a Lead Collection campaign, navigate to Experience > Optimize > Web Templates.

      1. Click the Create button, name your campaign, and click the Next button.

      2. You will land on the Template Library. You can search for the template you wish to use or find it under Collect Leads.

      3. Choose the template you wish to use and design it.

      4. You might see two pages to design your template:

      • Subscribe Page: Where you ask for the lead from the user.
      • Thank You Page: Where you display your appreciation message and offer coupon codes.

      5. If the regulations for lead collection requires user consent, you can configure it with GDPR Policy element. 

      If your company obtains your users' consent in compliance with the local regulations, make sure to pass the GDPR opt-in field to Insider. If you want to stop collecting and processing the data of an identified user, GDPR opt-in field should have the false value. Insider cannot be held liable if these obligations are not fulfilled and reserves the right to seek compensation from your company.

      If you enable it, you should specify the following:

      • Policy Text is the wording where you get the user’s consent.
      • Action - Redirection Link is where you link the text. When a user clicks on the Policy Text, a browser window will open where the user can read the terms and conditions.
      • Error is the warning text when users enter an invalid email/phone number.

      6. For further information, refer to Lead Collection Templates. Save your design and proceed. Allocate the traffic of your variant, you can add another variant if you like on the Design step.

      7. Choose your segment to narrow down your audience.

      8. Select your rules to trigger your campaign.

      9. Define your goals to track the performance of your campaign. You can also set Goal Durations.

      10. Select language, activation time, display and advanced settings

      If you want to add a second step variation for email subscription verification, you can enable double opt-in.

      Activate or deactivate your campaign or you can also save it in Test status to check your configurations. Once you are ready, click the Launch button.

      The user data that you collect with Lead Collection campaigns are sent to the database (UCD) automatically. This operation enables you to unify your users across different platforms.

      Lead Collection Campaign Operations

      1. On the listing page, you can see the analytics and the details of your campaign. 

      2. You can export the results of your Lead Collection campaign. Under the menu against the campaign, click Export variation.

      3. Choose the date interval, variation and export type and click Export.

      You cannot select a date range longer than 31 days. If you select the date range for a wider period, you receive an error.

      If the responses exceed 10,000 rows and you select the XLSX format, you may receive an error even if the date range is less than 31 days. In such cases, using the CSV format allows access to large amounts of data.

      You might receive an error if you try to export the variation again without waiting for the first request to complete. In such cases, wait for a while and try again.

      If you attempt to export data from a panel to which you do not have PII access, you may receive this error message, as the exported data contains personally identifiable information (PII), and only users with PII access can utilize this feature.
