    Contacts Management

      Article Summary

Users whose information you store in your email product are your contacts. Getting their consent is required to establish a legal basis for the collection, storage, and use of personal data that belongs to these contacts. Otherwise, no email will be sent to your contacts. The email information can flow into the contacts page using these methods:

      • Emails uploaded to a contact list
      • Emails inserted from a website using IO Integration
      • Emails collected from Lead Collection Templates
      • Emails coming from SDK
      • Emails coming from any of the API

You can use the information that you store on your contacts to create segments. Segments are similar to contact lists, except that they update in real-time when a contact's data matches the criteria that you set.

Every contact that you upload manually or pass through Insider Object or collect via Lead Collection templates on your desktop and mobile websites will be added to the All Contacts page. Navigate to Audience > Contacts Management > All Contacts to manage your contacts.
