    Add a Campaign Variant

      Article Summary

You can add a variant in your campaign in two different ways:

      • Choose an existing variant that you previously created. Just click the Choose an existing variant button and search for the variant by name in the Design step.
      • Add a new variant. Follow the steps below.

How to add a new variant

      1. Click the Create button on the listing page of Web Templates. Name your campaign and click Next to proceed. You will land on the Template Library.

      2. Choose the template you wish to use in your campaign. When you click on it, you will see the available platforms, its default preview, description, and its elements. Click Use For {Platform} to proceed.

      3. After selecting your template, you need to position it. This action differs depending on whether the template you select is an on-page template or an inline one.

For an on-page template, you do not need to select any element to position your template to. For an inline template, you will be prompted to select an element on the page to use to position your template.

You can use the toolbar at the top of the page to navigate to other pages on your website. You can use this option before positioning your inline templates to position them on any page other than the home page.

You can also use Add Elements, Position, Advanced Settings, Templates on the toolbar to change the default settings as per your campaign design.

      4. Once you’ve positioned your template, you can see the elements of this template on the left sidebar, and the settings of each element on the right sidebar. Customize your template to meet your website’s design guidelines. Save your changes.

      5. Click Add a new variant if you like to add another variant to your campaign. You can also duplicate the existing one if you want to create a similar variant. Set your traffic allocation. Then, proceed the Segments step to choose your target audience for your campaign.
