    Troubleshooting for Action Builder

      Article Summary

Action Builder is one of the key elements of the Insider Growth Management Platform. Action Builder allows the users to create their own personalized visual design and test them comparatively. It is the main field of action.

If your Action Builder doesn’t work, try these tips:

      Check Google flags

Type “chrome://flags” on Chrome’s search area. After going to ”chrome://flags”, please search for "Samesite" in the search field. Then, change the settings to “Disabled” in the result that appears and click the Relaunch button in the warning bar at the bottom right.

Before making any changes, make sure that you’ve saved all your content since Chrome relaunches after the changes are made.

Check site settings for Action Builder

Go to your Chrome settings. Click the Privacy and security button. Scroll down and click the Insecure Content button. To allow the website to show insecure content, click the Add button and refresh your tab to reload Action Builder.

      Check the extension version

Make sure you have the latest version of the Insider extension. When Google publishes our extension from the store, in small updates, the version is updated automatically.

      Accept cookies

Check if you have enabled 3rd party cookies. If you see that they are not allowed, then you should allow 3rd party cookies on the Settings page.

Open the website in another tab, accept the cookies, and refresh Action Builder. If this doesn’t work either, then paste the URL in the URL bar under Action Builder located on the top left.

      Disable other extensions

Disable all the extensions except Insider Extension because some extensions - especially adblockers - block Action Builder, which might result in slowing down the loading. You have to check if Action Builder is opening in Incognito mode with only Insider Extension enabled.

      Organizational restrictions

You should check if Chrome is managed by organizations, as company-managed accounts might block third-party extensions.

If the case persists, create a new user under Chrome, and make sure to download only Insider extension and try again.

After you check all these steps and the issue persists, open the Console and go to Network to ensure that there are no errors. If you encounter any errors, please share them with the Insider team
