Sending Insider Events to Amplitude

You can establish Insider as a source in Amplitude ecosystem, and send data from Insider to Amplitude. With the Insider event ingestion integration, you can send your Insider event data to Amplitude when a response is received, and enable data-driven charts and cohorts in Amplitude.

Use Cases

Once you integrate Insider as a source on Amplitude:

• You can collect all messaging channel events such as email open or SMS click. This integration helps you have advanced analytics use cases, create charts, and analyze your user data better.
• You can utilize channel interaction events such as journey entered or in-app events, and create cohorts on Amplitude.

How to configure Insider as a source on Amplitude

To configure Insider as a source on your Amplitude account, follow these steps: 

1. Log into your Amplitude account to find Insider in the source catalog, and click it.
2. Copy your API Key and contact the Insider team to activate the Amplitude integration on Insider with the copied API key.
3. To finish the setup, listen for events coming from Insider when the integration is completed from the Insider side, and click Finish.

Data Synchronization

Insider can pass a selected identifier data to Amplitude. This identifier can be uuid (unique user ID).
